Triage Services

HS Rehab Services offer quality triage service to its clients. It is managed by a team of highly experienced chartered physiotherapists and is a proven alternative to the conventional musculoskeletal injury management services..

A telephone consultation will identify patients who could benefit with self-management or those patients needing a face to face appointment with multidisciplinary therapists from our nationwide network. Exercise prescription, suggesting on management and prevention strategies will form a part of triage service. Patients and clients will be made aware of red flags relevant to their condition and the need to seek emergency medical advice in case of identification of any form of red flags.


Working of our triage service is as follows:

  • Patient/ client will receive a telephone consultation after we have received notification of their case (injury/ pain/ occupational health related musculoskeletal ailment).
  • The consultation will include musculoskeletal and red flag screening questions which can take up to 30 minutes.
  • Exercise prescription, suggesting on management and prevention strategies will form a part of triage service and patients will be asked to follow the self-management regime for a time frame of at least 4 - 6 weeks.
  • In case of no improvement in symptoms , the patient will notify our team and will be referred for a face to face consultation within an average travelling distance of 5 miles.
  • Detailed reports will be sent to the employer / insurers/ private referring companies / solicitors at every stage of the process keeping you informed.
  • As a part of our service provision we will ensure that our triage service will reach the client within 24 hours (1 working day) of the case being registered with us. We strive to reach our clients without any form of delay and provide efficient consultation through our expert service providers.
